Using Read4More means you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please read them—there’s no fine print, just clear rules so everyone knows what to expect.
1) Using Read4More
- By accessing read4more.com, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website or our services.
- You must be of legal age in your country, or have parental/guardian consent if you’re a minor.
- You’re responsible for your account and password. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.
- We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts to protect users or the Services.
2) Buying access & billing
- Access: Some offerings are one‑time purchases; others are subscriptions. Access may be time‑limited.
- Pricing: Prices, features, and taxes may change.
- Payments: You authorize us (and our processors) to charge your chosen method.
- Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before renewal.
- Cancellations: You can cancel anytime; you’ll keep access through the end of the paid period.
Refunds & cancellations (read me!)
- General rule: All sales are final. We don’t offer refunds, except where the law requires (e.g., unauthorized/duplicate charges, confirmed billing errors, or if we fail to provide the purchased access/services).
- 72‑hour cut‑off: A refund is not possible within 72 hours of the scheduled start of delivery of a course or after you start using any part of a course/package/digital content—whichever happens first.
- If you are eligible for a refund (before the 72‑hour cut‑off and before using any content): the refund will be issued minus non‑recoverable costs such as payment processor commissions, transaction fees, and bank/currency‑exchange charges.
- What counts as “start/consume”: logging into the enrolled course area, downloading materials, streaming any lesson/video/live session, submitting an assignment, or accessing protected content.
- Subscriptions: Cancelling stops future renewals. We don’t refund partial periods once a billing period has started, unless required by law.
3) Scheduling & rescheduling (real life happens)
- First‑come, first‑served: Book session times through our shared calendar. To secure preferred slots, book in advance.
- Reschedule window: You may reschedule up to 12 hours before the session start. Inside 12 hours, rescheduling is at the teacher’s discretion.
- No‑shows/late changes: If you miss a session without timely rescheduling, the teacher may mark it as used/chargeable or, at their discretion, offer a new time.
4) Session validity & expiry
- Packages (e.g., 10 sessions) must be used within the stated validity window (for example, one month) from purchase/activation. Unused sessions expire and are not refundable.
- If you expect not to finish in time, contact your teacher early. Extensions depend on availability and aren’t guaranteed.
5) Daily practice calls (free add‑on)
- Included with some subscriptions as a complimentary benefit run by our assistant teachers.
- You schedule the call time. It’s a light, real‑life conversation practice.
- Availability is first‑come, first‑served and not guaranteed. As a free bonus, unavailability doesn’t create credits or refunds.
6) Group classes
- We set group times by the majority’s availability.
- If you can’t attend the only time the group can meet, your subscription may be postponed until another suitable group is available. No cash refunds for schedule mismatches.
7) Session recordings & learning analysis
- Live sessions may be recorded to provide replays (for 5 days) and post‑session analysis (strengths, weaknesses, main ideas). Analyses may take up to 24 hours.
- Don’t want to be recorded? Tell your teacher before the session. If you opt out, there’s no replay or automated analysis for that session.
- We may use AI tools for transcripts and analysis, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8) Our content & your content
- Our content: Courses, videos, text, images, and logos belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non‑transferable, revocable license to use content during your access period. No reselling, sharing, scraping, or public posting without permission.
- Certificates: Completion certificates are not academic degrees or professional licenses.
- Your content: You keep ownership of what you submit (assignments, comments). You give us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, display, and use it to run and improve the Services and show it to intended audiences (e.g., your class/teacher). You must have the rights to post it. We may remove content that breaks the law or these Terms.
9) Acceptable use
Please don’t: break the law; infringe IP or privacy; upload malware or try to bypass security; harass others; misrepresent who you are; collect others’ data without consent; or use the Services to advertise without our permission.
10) Schools, teachers, and parents
If you manage student accounts, you confirm you have authority/consent and will use student data only for educational purposes, following applicable student‑privacy laws.
11) Third‑party services (including Canva)
We integrate third‑party tools (video hosting, payments, etc.). They have their own terms/policies that apply to you.
- Canva for Education: We’re registered with Canva as an educational institution and may provide complimentary access to certain Canva for Education/Pro features to teachers and students. We don’t charge for this. Availability depends on Canva’s rules and may change or end.
12) Disclaimers
The Services and content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind (including fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement). We don’t promise any specific learning outcome or uninterrupted, error‑free service.
13) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we (and our directors, employees, and partners) aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 6 months before the claim.
14) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us for claims, losses, and costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
15) Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or for security/business reasons. You can stop using the Services anytime. Some sections (IP, disclaimers, liability limits) continue after termination.
16) Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. The courts of Kigali have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non‑waivable consumer rights in your country.
17) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We’ll post changes here, and for material changes we’ll also notify you (e.g., email or in‑app). Continuing to use the Services means you accept the new Terms.
